The Imagen Foundation 2010 Career Fair is scheduled for March 27, 2010, in Pasadena.

The Conference on Saturday March 27th is from 8:30AM-4PM. This event will help you with job searches, what makes a good what resume, and how to use social networking to find a job. In addition, there will be speakers talking about the future industry jobs. Don’t miss out!

You must register in advance to attend! The fee is $10 for this all day event.

HBO Latino® Brings "Alice" to the U.S.

The 13-episode Brazilian drama series starring Andreia Horta in the title role, comes to the U.S. on HBO Latino (www.hbolatino.com), Friday, March 6 at 10PM ET. ALICE will air in Spanish every Friday from March 6-May 29, 2009 and will also be available on HBO On Demand with English subtitles. ALICE is an original series from HBO Latin America Group, co-produced with Gullane Films.

After learning of a family tragedy, 26-year-old Alice Carvalho Zanetti leaves her quiet hometown for the teeming metropolis of Sao Paulo. With her way of life disrupted by the loss, Alice soon discovers a new world in the seductive city, one that offers her a chance to start over and rediscover herself. A story that is as much about the city as it is about her, ALICE deals with transitions and the adventure of finding a fresh purpose in life.

ALICE features Andreia Horta, Carla Ribas, Daniela Piepszyk, Walderez de Barros, Felipe Massuia, Regina Braga, Marat Descartes, Eduardo Moscovis and Vinicius Zinn.

Osorio's Production Company Wins Davey Award


NALIP member Diego Osorio's production company ego Inc. won a Silver Award at the 2008 International Davey Awards for the on-line Film & Video category with the short film Ethan Hembley is Missing.

With more than 4000 submissions, the annual International Davey Awards honors the creative excellence of smaller agencies and companies worldwide who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets. Executives from Disney, MTV, and Yahoo!, among others are members of the "International Academy of The Visual Arts" who sanction and judge the works submitted to the competition.

The story is written & co produced by Brian Coen, the Director of photography is Cesare Salerno & Diego Osorio produced, directed and edited this short film inspired by the Evan Trembley Missing Boy Email Hoax and pokes fun at a boy that sets off a massive fraudulent email campaign.
